My mom grows a huge garden on the farm but has a problem of other creatures thinking they should also reap the benefits. This is a raccoon, although cute and cuddly looking, very vicious if cornered! Mom caught this one in her corn patch. Ironically this is my sweetheart's birthday today and his favorite vegetable is corn-Happy 47th Hon!
Thanks for the insightful shots of life in the country. I kind of feel sorry for animals in captivity although I understand how this raccoon got himself into a bit of a tight spot.

Nice photo. And may I get on my soapbox ... racoons are NOT cute or cuddly! Having grown up on the farm the two things I can tell you is that they killed my dad's poodle (a city dog that just went to take a look at what the "farm" dog was doing) and they infected by Dad's pig herd and sent him into bankruptsy ... not cute!
