Taken near where I was raised, still stands tall and proud!
D3Wantabe is now D300Owner. I’m sure at one point in its history Harry’s Place was a grand house, with obviously a large porch or veranda. I’m sure with its solid brick exterior it was the pride of the area. Nice photo Shar, the angle makes the old house “smile” and you couldn’t have got a better day. A well composed image, and I'm sure Harry would be proud.

I am taking my time admiring this image. Knowing there was a family and life there I am curious. Windering when it was built I imagine just bringing the materials in to build was a task. Your series of images are wonderful to view. Pieces are beginning to fall, I hope you got all of the shots you need.
